Arriving in your local bookstore any day now is this gay fairy tale by Jeffrey A. Miles, a charming love story, masquerading at first as a classic princess potboiler but soon developing into a romance between two handsome princes, who, guess what, spoiler alert, get married in the end.
Okay, strictly speaking, this may be a children’s book, but its broad appeal should find it welcomed in many gay and gay-friendly households.
After all, it features two hot lead male gay characters, more bling than you'll find on an Essex night out, a liberal-minded kingdom, compelling tearjerker moments and positive gay role models.
The author recalls sitting in front of an amusement park castle watching a live-action show that featured four prince and princess couples happily singing and dancing. It was clearly a small leap of imagination to envisage two handsome princes who fell in love, and, as in all great fairy tales, lived happily ever after. Anyone for a happy ending?
