"Nestled in the heart of one of London's busiest streets, the Brick Lane Gallery was the venue for my fourth, solo exhibition entitled Night Vision. Many of the pictures are now exhibited in this article.
As a location, Brick Lane has been the site of several of the city's best known night clubs and Indian restaurants, as well as a world famous Sunday market. Modern day street artists such as Banksy, D*Face and Ben Eine have all left their mark here, attracting many visitors, not just interested in graffiti but also in modern art as a whole.
My exhibition of atmospheric night scenes generated a lot of interest, interest that gained in momentum as the week progressed. It was my intention to create a body of work that conveyed the mystery, romance and beauty of the night. For the many visitors to the exhibition, I apparently translated this perfectly with people from many different ethnicities seeming to understand and appreciate my concept. As one of my friends commented,"It's really fun to hang out in a packed gallery with a lively crowd, young and not so young, all showing lots of enthusiasm".
I was thrilled with the success of this last exhibition and I shall certainly plan to exhibit there again. I now plan to exhibit paintings of a similar theme for my next exhibition in Brussels, in March next year."
