We all know the Chinese government is not good at owning up to all their problems, like Internet access. However, they are trying to be open! Well… trying… but not trying hard enough.
The picture above is a note released by a Chinese News website (probably official). It translates as:
“The Myanmar government announced that the most popular social network, Facebook, is now open for use in the country. There are only 4 countries around the world still blocking Facebook. These countries are North Korea, Cuba, Iran and one other country.”
Is there a country called “One Other Country”? Or might that just be you, China?
Lustralboy says: We welcome any and all signs of liberalization in the fast-evolving Chinese nation. But feel a similar responsibility to shed light on the less progressive moments. That was a good one!
